I have been a French as a Second Language pedagogical consultant, at a provincial level with the Learn English Education and Resource Network (LEARN) since 2009.  There I develop resources based on research and evidence in education. I also coach both teachers and other consultants, offering professional development via our website, online sessions. I have also facilitated several workshops at school board pedagogical days and other conferences.

In collaboration with various partners in the community, I have piloted various initiatives, including Accent Québec, the Passeport de prise de risques linguistiques, the Guide pour l’enseignement du français, langue seconde, Interagir au secondaire and Interagir au primaire.

Prix Ghislaine-Coutu-Vaillancourt de l'artiste sculpteure Michelle GiguèreMy expertise in interaction led me to collaborate with the Quebec Ministry of Education to develop and deliver province-wide training. I have also acted as a consultant to the Cree School Board. In addition, I am involved in various provincial projects to share my passion for language and culture.

My professional experiences range from teaching at the elementary and secondary levels, to supervising internships for French as a Second Language students at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).

In 2020, I received the Ghislaine-Coutu-Vaillancourt Award from the Association québécoise des enseignants.e.s de français langue seconde (AQEFLS) for my involvement in the association and for my contribution to the teaching of French as a second language in Quebec.
